One year ago today, House Republicans passed the Big Ugly Bill. Now, they are trying to celebrate it. There is nothing to celebrate. Millions of Americans have lost their healthcare. Families are still struggling to put food on the table, pay rent, and afford gas. Instead of celebrating a bill that ripped away healthcare and food assistance, we should work together to lower costs, expand access to healthcare, feed our kids, and build more housing.
